The Arnprior Montessori School at PCC invites the child to explore the prepared environment and through the process of normalization fulfill their need to learn. The Montessori materials are specially designed so that they do not distract from the central purpose of each activity. The built in control of error allows the child to evaluate their own work and make changes accordingly. The self-correcting nature of the materials maintains self-esteem and encourages the child to explore the environment further.
